Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) provides a superior storage solution. With some storage requirements escalating and others becoming more complex, factors such as flexibility, performance, increased reliability, greater density, security, scalability and accessibility are more critical than ever. Today's organizations consist of different kinds of environments. Enterprise data centers must be online 24X7, fulfill requests from numerous users simultaneously, and allow for constant growth and expansion while in operation. HP SAS drives are available in both 2.5-inch or Small Form Factor (SFF) and 3.5-inch models and three RPM speeds: 7.2K, 10K, and 15K to meet the individual performance needs of every customer. Additionally, HP's portfolio consists of single port drives for traditional server implementations and dual port drives for external storage where redundancy and high availability are critical.

Available models include: 2.5" 10K - 146GB, 72GB; 2.5" 15K - 72GB & 36GB; 3.5" 15K - 450GB, 300GB, 146GB, 72GB; and 3.5" 10K - 400GB.

SAS Enterprise drives provide maximum reliability and performance. In the past, the only low-power Enterprise drives were 2.5"; now, HP's portfolio includes low-power drives in a 3.5" format. These drives are 3G, 10K, dual port SAS drives so you get the power savings you need even for your platforms that take 3.5" drives. Available capacities are:

• HP 400GB 3G NHP 10K 3.5" DP SAS ENT HDD
