HP recommends that our customers update to the latest errata and security releases from Red Hat through the Red Hat Network. HP is committed to supporting all customers that install security and errata updates released by Red Hat.

1 RH EL 5 = Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
HP has issued a customer advisory for RH EL 5 Xen. HP has certified and will support these servers with the following caveats:
- No SAN support
- No HP agent support
- Greater than 64 GB system memory requires an updated kernel. Click here for more information

2 RH EL 5 = Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
HP management Agent support is now available with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.2 and the HP Linux ProLiant Support Pack version 8.10.

For servers with dual core processors, Update 1 (2.6.9-11.EL kernel) or greater is required. |
