The multiple operating systems that run in the virtualized environment provided by the host are called guests. A new virtual server can be created in a matter of seconds. Many different configurations are possible. Virtualization dramatically enhances the value of the server due to its ability to reduce IT costs through consolidation and increase IT flexibility and responsiveness.
