How to buy

1. Purchase Insight Rapid Deployment software or Insight Control suite through any of these options:
   • Call 1.800.652.6672.
   • Access the HP online store
   • Access the product webpage and click the "Buy Online" button
   • Purchase a HP BladeSystem enclosure, with Insight Control suite. Click here to find out more about ProLiant BL servers.
   
   
2. Register the product and obtain a license file:
   1. Locate the unique 20 character product registration number in your kit. The registration number is in the form: xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
   2. Access the following URL: www.hp.com/servers/rdp/register
   3. Enter your registration number in the Serial Number field, enter your email address, and then click Continue.
   4. Follow the on-screen instructions to have a license file emailed to you.
   
   
3. If this is a first-time installation, install the Insight Rapid Deployment software software:
   • Install the product by following the "First-Time Installation" instructions detailed in the autorun menu.
   • During installation, enter the path to the license file in the License file field at the Deployment Server Client Access Point Information screen.
   
   
4. If you have an existing installation, apply the additional licenses:
   • Run the Altiris Product Licensing Utility by clicking Start, Programs, Altiris, Deployment Server, Product Licensing Utility.
   • Enter the path to the license file in the Activation Key File Information field and click Next.
   • Follow the on-screen instructions to apply the additional licenses.
