Insight Rapid Deployment software (RDP) is an integrated solution that automates the process of deploying and provisioning server software, enabling companies to quickly and easily adapt to changing business demands.
A license allows a server to be deployed and managed from the Deployment Server Console. One license is required for each server managed from the Deployment Server Console. A license file contains licenses for a predetermined number of servers.
Licenses are independent of the version of the Insight Rapid Deployment software and they do not expire. After a license is applied to a specific server, the license cannot be removed or transferred to another server. Full details are contained in the End User License Agreement.
RDP provides the following licensing options:
- Fixed-Quantity License Kit - Contains one license (1-Server License Kit) or ten licenses (10-Server License Kit) with a single, unique license activation key, software installation media and documentation.
- Flexible-Quantity License Kit - The quantity ordered of this part number will be the quantity of licenses included in the kit along with a single corresponding activation key.
- Bundled licenses with ProLiant Blade servers - 8- or 20-Server License Kits only available with the purchase of an HP BladeSystem p-Class server blade enclosure or an e-Class blade PC enclosure.
- Activation Key Agreement (AKA) and associated Tracking License - Corporate site license purchased with the active involvement of your HP account manager.
