Lights Out LO100c is a family of Remote Management Cards (RMC) for ProLiant 100 series servers that do not have embedded LO100i. The LO100c allows customers, or their service providers, to remotely manage ProLiant servers over a LAN or the Internet from anywhere, anytime regardless whether the server is located in the same building, across town, or around the globe.
HP LO100c provides virtual media and Virtual KVM for full remote graphical console capabilities in entry-level servers. It also enables anytime access to system management information such as hardware health and event logs. These remote control capabilities dramatically reduce the need to physically visit or find onsite assistance to support ProLiant 100 Series servers for troubleshooting, deployment and updating.
LO100c features have equivalent functionality to the LO100i Advanced Licenses. See the LO100 Model Comparison Table and the LO100 Server Compatibility Table for detail on features.

The new HP PL100 G5 LO100c Kit is now available for ProLiant 100 G5 series servers that require a management card rather than advanced licenses. This card does not work on previous generation tower servers which still have their separate, specific LO100c Remote Management Cards.
- Supports the ProLiant ML110 G5, ML115 G5, ML150 G5, and DL180 G5 servers
- A specific new LO100c is now available (DL120 G5 HP Lights Out 100c Kit) that is specific to support the new ProLiant DL120 G5 server.

The DL180 G5 and DL120 G5 servers do not have embedded LO100i as have DL100 series servers in the recent past; therefore it requires a LO100c to be able to obtain Virtual Media and Virtual KVM functionality.
