With HP Lights-Out LO100i Remote Management, ProLiant 100 series servers can be managed from anywhere, anytime via a LAN or the Internet.
It offers basic remote control via telnet, browser, and IPMI. These features enable access to system management information to dramatically reduce the need to physically visit or find onsite assistance for troubleshooting, deployment and updating. Licenses are available to provide additional LO100i advanced capabilities:
- LO100i Select contains all the features of LO100i Standard plus virtual media and allows for essential, secure, remote control, and serial console.
- LO100i Advanced contains all the features of LO100i Select plus Virtual KVM (graphical hardware-based, remote console)

With the latest release of HP Lights-Out 100i Remote Management, HP delivers firmware version 3.0 for the ProLiant 100 series Generation 5 servers that run embedded LO100i. The new 3.0 features are available as LO100i Advanced and Select Packs.
Version 2.10 remains available as a licensable option for the ProLiant DL140 G3 and ProLiant DL145 G3 servers.
- Latest Enhancements: LO100i supports ProLiant DL160 G5, DL165 G5, and DL185 G5 servers
- Options
- Version 3.0 licenses for G5 DL100 series servers are now available both in both Flat Packs as well as Electronic Key Delivery
- New licenses for DL100 series G5 servers have a one-time, optional, license activation key to allow for easy, future upgrades which will be chargeable when they become available. (Maintenance updates with fixes and enhancements to LO100i Standard will continue to be available at no charge.)
