The HP PDR Management Module enables you to monitor power environments through comprehensive control of HP PDR. The HP PDR Management Module can be configured to send alert traps to HP Systems Insight Manager and other SNMP management programs or used as a standalone monitoring system. This flexibility enables you to monitor PDR through the network. To facilitate day-to-day maintenance tasks, the embedded management software provides detailed system logs.
The HP PDR Management Module provides remote monitoring of a PDR by connecting the PDR directly to the network. From anywhere and at anytime, Management of the PDR via a standard web browser. Also, this module supports data monitoring of ModBus data through RTU and TCP protocols.

- Locally through a terminal emulation program
- Remotely and locally through ModBus
The management module can be configured to send alert traps to HP Systems Insight Manager and used as a standalone management system. This flexibility enables you to monitor and manage the PDR through the network connector; the serial connector located on the front of the management module is only used for configuration. To facilitate day-to-day maintenance tasks, the firmware provides detailed system logs.
