Virtual media expands day-to-day manageability

Local Virtual Media allows administrators to map a USB thumb drive, CD, DVD, or other mass storage device directly from the console switch to an attached server to easily install and update firmware, applications and operating systems in heterogeneous environments directly from the console. Virtual media will even work in a cascaded environment!

USB adds flexibility

USB connectivity and USB pass-through eases cable management and allows virtual media functionality when accessing servers locally inside the datacenter by simply attaching a USB storage device directly to the switch. To compliment these Console Switches HP's new TFT7600RKM and 1U Rackmount Keyboard with USB have front USB pass-through ports for added convenience.
